OUR MISSION
Lookout Mountain Elementary School Dads On Duty volunteers support children, parents, teachers, staff and our community by enhancing the learning environment through the active presence of positive male role models in the classroom, on campus and at other school-related events.
DOING IT FOR THE KIDS
We invite all dads — and moms and grandparents! — of Lookout Mountain Elementary School students to join Dads On Duty. Our signature program is aiding your child and his/her classmates in the school’s computer lab. Sessions last less than an hour once a week; you can sign up for as many or as few sessions as you like. Dads on Duty volunteers also are welcome and encouraged to participate in other special school events and activities, including the annual Fall Festival and the Evening of the Arts in the spring, and a Father-Son Kickball Spectacular in 2008.
