DADS, OUR CHILDREN NEED US IN THE CLASSROOM!
From a 2006 story in The Arizona Republic:
Ranks of male teachers shrink in Arizona elementary schools
Men are disappearing from elementary schools. … In Arizona, almost 60 percent of grade school principals and nearly 90 percent of teachers are women. Some schools have no men, meaning kids may not have a male teacher or principal until middle or high school. … Female educators say they are worried about the absence of men teaching kids to read, to discover the power of gravity or to multiply three-digit numbers.

Lookout Mountain is fortunate to have many wonderful teachers, including a handful of male teachers, but Dads on Duty can help add to that important male presence at school and make a difference in our children’s education.
